Founded in Canada’s Centennial year, Fountain Place designs, installs, maintains and restores fountains from our shop in Markham.
Our story
Who runs Fountain Place?
Fountain Place is owned and run by Ryan Trollope, our lead designer. Ryan built residential water features early in his career. After engineering studies, he studied system and environmental design for commercial water features under Richard Van Seters.
He has worked on landmark water features in Ontario and abroad. Ryan joined Fountain Place in 2007 as lead designer and installation and restoration contractor, and became owner and operator in 2013.
Scott Bishop is Ryan’s partner and our lead technician. Together they lead a team of mechanical, electrical and operations specialists who work as one crew, from design and installation to maintenance and restoration.

We carry products from most major floating fountain manufacturers in North America, including Kasco Marine, Aqua Control and Aqua Master.
Our sister company
Parts, pumps and fountains ship from Fountain Depot.
Fountain Depot is our online store, shipping across Canada from the same Markham shop. It is a factory-authorized Kasco Marine dealer and certified Kasco repair centre, with free diagnostic estimates and a 90-day warranty on parts and labour.
