Fountain repair
Fountain not running? We’ll find out why.
Pumps, leaks, lights, nozzles and controls repaired by mechanical and electrical specialists, with parts we make in-house.

Why has my fountain stopped working?
A fountain usually stops because of a failed or clogged pump, a tripped breaker, a leak, or a fault in the controls or lighting. The cause is not always where the symptom is. Our mechanical and electrical specialists test the whole system, find the real fault and repair it, often with parts we make in our own shop.
Low water, weak jets, noise and tripping breakers are all early warnings. Calling at the first sign usually means a smaller repair.

Parts on hand
Why our repairs don’t wait on parts
We make our own high-quality parts for maintenance and restoration, so the parts we need are readily available. That keeps a fountain from sitting dry while a part is back-ordered.
Our sister company, Fountain Depot, also stocks pumps, nozzles and replacement parts in the same Markham shop.

From the field
The fault several shops couldn’t find
A floating fountain had been out of service for a long time. Several electricians and motor shops had tried and failed to fix it.
We took amperage readings, then measured leakage on the long cable run with a milliamp reader. Over 5 milliamps trips the panel’s safety controls. We traced the leakage to a small leak in the quick disconnect and repaired it.

FAQ
Fountain repair questions
Why does my fountain keep tripping the breaker?
Often it is current leaking from a damaged cable, splice or quick disconnect. We measure the leakage with a milliamp reader and trace it to the exact point.
Why is my fountain spray weak?
Low pressure usually comes from clogged nozzles, a clogged or damaged impeller, or a pump that is wearing out. We check each one and clear or replace what is causing it.
Do you offer emergency fountain repair?
Yes. Emergency calls and service are available for our clients. Call 1-877-752-1222.
Can you get parts for an older fountain?
Usually, yes. We make our own parts for maintenance and restoration, and we can identify and source replacement parts for existing floating fountains.
Is it worth repairing an old fountain, or should we restore it?
If the problem is one component, repair it. If the pumps, piping, controls and structure are all near end of life, an inspection will show whether a restoration makes more sense.
My homeowner Kasco unit has stopped. Can I bring it in?
Yes. Drop it off or ship it to Fountain Depot’s Kasco repair centre in Markham. It offers a free diagnostic estimate and a 90-day warranty on parts and labour.
