What does Fountain Place do?
Fountain Place is a Markham-based fountain contractor that maintains, repairs, restores and installs fountains, floating fountains and pond aeration systems for municipalities, condominiums, businesses and estates across Toronto, the GTA and Ontario cottage country. We have done this work since 1967.
One crew handles the whole life of a fountain: weekly service, spring start-ups and fall closings, repairs, and full restorations when a system reaches the end of its life. We make many of our own parts, test motors in our own shop, and store pumps, lights and controls over winter in a moisture-controlled facility.
Our sister company, Fountain Depot, ships fountains, aerators and genuine Kasco parts across Canada from the same building.

Ontario’s oldest fountain, running again.
Built in the early 1900s and fed by an aquifer, the Belfountain had stopped working. We rebuilt it with copper pipe to keep its early-1900s character, new pumps and nozzles, and engineered grating for public safety.

Questions
Fountain care, answered.
How often should a commercial fountain be serviced?
Most commercial fountains need a visit every week or two in season; quieter features can run on a monthly plan. We set the schedule after seeing the site. See fountain maintenance.
When should a fountain be opened and closed in Ontario?
Start it up in spring once the risk of overnight frost has passed, and close it before freezing nights return in the fall. Water left in pipes over winter cracks them. See openings and closings.
Do you service fountains you didn’t install?
Yes. We maintain, repair and source parts for fountains and floating fountains from most major manufacturers, whoever installed them.
Can you repair a Kasco fountain or de-icer?
Yes. We service Kasco equipment on site for commercial and municipal properties, and our sister company Fountain Depot is an authorized Kasco repair centre in Markham. See Kasco and motor service.
Which areas do you serve?
Toronto and the GTA, York and Durham, Peel, Halton and Hamilton, and cottage country including Barrie, Muskoka and the Kawarthas. See service areas.
