Does Fountain Place work in cottage country?
Yes. Fountain Place serves Barrie and Simcoe County, Muskoka, the Kawarthas and Georgian Bay from our Markham shop. We supply, install and service floating fountains, aeration and de-icers for lake and pond properties, and we have worked on fountains in Barrie. Kasco units can also be shipped to our repair centre.
Most cottage work is seasonal: installation or start-up in spring, and removal, servicing and storage in fall.

Beyond Barrie, we service lake fountains, aerators and de-icers in Muskoka, the Kawarthas and Georgian Bay. Visits are planned around the season, so call early in spring or before freezing nights to book.
When a project calls for it, we travel further still. We restored the Pembroke Centennial Fountain for the Township of Pembroke, with new vaults, controls, wind sensors and lighting.

What lake properties need from us
A floating fountain adds circulation and oxygen to a lake bay or pond, which reduces algae, odour and muck. We size it, set the anchoring, run the cable to shore and add lights and controls if you want them.
In winter, ice can damage docks and boathouses. A Kasco de-icer keeps open water around them, and we can install it, wire it and service it.
Long cable runs to shore are a common source of trouble. Over 5 milliamps of leakage trips a panel’s safety controls, so we test the cable and quick disconnects before we blame the motor.

Can you take my lake fountain out for the winter?
Yes. We remove floating fountains in fall, service them, and store pumps, lights and controls in our moisture-controlled facility until spring.
Will a de-icer protect my dock and boathouse?
A de-icer keeps an area of open water around docks and boathouses, which helps prevent ice damage. We can recommend and install the right de-icing setup.
Can I ship a Kasco fountain or de-icer in for repair?
Yes. Fountain Depot’s Kasco repair centre accepts units shipped from anywhere in Ontario, with a free diagnostic estimate and a 90-day warranty on parts and labour.
Which brands do you service?
We fully service Kasco Marine, Aqua Master and Aqua Control. We also test and maintain Otterbine, Airolator, AirMax, OASE and Arbrux units.
Can I buy a fountain or de-icer and install it myself?
Yes. Our sister store sells pond and dock de-icers and floating fountains, shipped across Canada.
