How do golf courses keep their ponds clear?
Golf course ponds stay clear with steady aeration, a maintained fountain and quick repairs when a unit stops. Fountain Place has designed, installed and maintained floating fountains and aerating displays for over 35 years. We service the equipment through the season and rebuild motors over winter at our authorized Kasco repair centre.
Superintendents get a contractor who knows the equipment from the motor out, so a stopped fountain is diagnosed rather than swapped.

Why winter motor service pays off in summer.
Our certified motor technicians follow a 17-step procedure on Kasco units. It covers decalcifying the motor can, testing windings and insulation, checking capacitors and overload protection, refilling with 10,000-hour dielectric oil and replacing seals and O-rings.
Every unit finishes with a wet and high-potential test and a written service report. We give Kasco, Aqua Master and Aqua Control units full service, and test and maintain Otterbine, Airolator, AirMax, OASE and Arbrux equipment. See Kasco and motor service.

Golf course pond questions.
Does a floating fountain aerate a pond?
Yes. A floating fountain moves surface water and adds oxygen. Larger or deeper ponds may need a surface aerator or diffused aeration as well.
Should our floating fountains come out for winter?
Yes. Floating fountains are removed and serviced in fall, then stored over winter and reinstalled in spring.
Can you service brands other than Kasco?
Yes. We fully service Kasco, Aqua Master and Aqua Control, and test and maintain Otterbine, Airolator, AirMax, OASE and Arbrux units.
Can you upgrade our older fountains?
Yes. We upgrade older units to newer models, with options for controls, lights, spray patterns and anchoring. See floating fountains.
