Fountain maintenance and repair in Toronto
From Casa Loma and Nathan Phillips Square to condo podiums and private gardens.

Who maintains and repairs fountains in Toronto?
Fountain Place maintains, repairs and restores fountains across Toronto, from Casa Loma and Nathan Phillips Square to condominium courtyards and private gardens. Our crews come in from the Markham shop on our regular routes, carrying parts we make in-house and equipment tested in our own motor facility.
We have worked on fountains downtown and in Rosedale, North York, Etobicoke and Runnymede. Commercial and condominium sites are usually serviced weekly or bi-weekly in season, with a visit report after each call.
Landmarks
Toronto landmarks, kept running
At Nathan Phillips Square, our staff remove debris and check filters and chemical systems. We run electrical safety tests before every fill, then balance the flow for the best display.
At Casa Loma we have worked on both the garden fountain and the front fountain. Heritage features need the right touch: we match power-washer size and nozzle to the surface so older waterproofing is not damaged.

What Toronto fountains are up against
Podium decks over parking. Many Toronto condominium fountains sit on a suspended slab above underground parking. On our infinity fountain rebuild we scanned the drains so no rebar was cut, set drain elevations with lasers and used structural insulation to reduce slab load.
Freeze-thaw. On one condominium restoration we found pipes broken and filled with concrete by the original installers. Trapped water could not drain, and the pipes cracked in freeze cycles. A proper fall closing prevents that.
Fall leaf load. City trees drop a lot into a fountain basin. Our portable vacuuming removes the debris itself, which lowers chemical costs instead of treating around it.
